Glad you enjoyed your visit to New England last summer.

Funny you should mention the mailbox, Iggy, since it was a topic of conversation here on Saturday as well. Jessie commented that she wouldn't put up with that for long before tearing out the mailbox and getting a box at the Post Office. (I still want to encase it in cement.) :-)Lainiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17075127964611101503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33559676.post-86684655176294058782008-08-11T14:38:00.000-05:002008-08-11T14:38:00.000-05:00I was in NH last summer in Dorchester.....And the ...I was in NH last summer in Dorchester.....

And the weather here in jolly old England has been horrendous rain and overcast, dont look like we are going to get a summer this year.... unlike the glorious weather we experienced in Maine, NH and Long Island this time last year :( oh how I wish I was back there.....

Popped over from Intense Guys blob :)

xMarmiteToastyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02536695634856882487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33559676.post-64554993302925956262008-08-10T21:59:00.000-05:002008-08-10T21:59:00.000-05:00LOLs @ "He's going to make a good housewife someda...LOLs @ "He's going to make a good housewife someday"

Supper sounds yummy *packs bags and heads to lainie's*

Im with iggy and Chicago in the matter of the house (lol @ iggy for the mailbox not being on the home warranty)LadyStyxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17020724106526697135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33559676.post-70386071544434652772008-08-10T21:33:00.000-05:002008-08-10T21:33:00.000-05:00Mmmmmmm, dinner sounds delicious! First off, you will KNOW who is buying your house. Second, he knows he can come to you if there's a problem, and you'll know who to call, etc.

Have a great week!ChicagoLadyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02023674166511200133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33559676.post-2088663972513727802008-08-10T19:44:00.000-05:002008-08-10T19:44:00.000-05:00*peers around hoping he isn't on Lainie's 'kick in...*peers around hoping he isn't on Lainie's 'kick in the pants' list*

Curious George the housewife.. hmm... I don't have the vacuum cleaner gene, but my Dad does - he runs it at his house and even runs the Rug Doctor thing on occassion. So not only you found a good guy, he has good genes.

The potential arrangement with Eric sounds pretty cool! My parents sold their house (my childhood home) to my younger brother and his wife when they first got married. It was a amiable and mutually agreeable arrangement all around. Hope if you do something like it, it works out well - just tell 'em that mailbox ain't on the home warranty. :)Intense Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08441598926026727682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33559676.post-50707920834170861942008-08-10T19:20:00.000-05:002008-08-10T19:20:00.000-05:00wow...what a supper! The sun is out and it's warm but not humid at all. Terri is mowing the back yard (after replacing a broken belt) and I'm working on my NTT playlist...listening to songs and moving them around a bit.

Sounds like dinner was a success, and the prospects of selling your house to Eric isn't too bad either. When my sister and her husband decided to buy a house near the feed mill, we bought their trailer, and for the most part, it worked out rather well.

We have thunderstorms in the forecast, too, but I'm hoping they won't hit until the game is over tonight. I'll try to divert any storms that reach me to the south for you, Lainie.AliceKayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12027650364526343030noreply@blogger.com
